Journal of Dermatological Treatment: Colloidal oat efficacy at treating symptoms of atopic dermatitis

This peer-reviewed article presents oat’s mechanism of action, benefits in treatment of eczema, and early emollient usage for prevention of eczema. Findings show that colloidal oat formulations improve skin hydration, reduce transepidermal water loss, and support barrier repair, leading to fewer flares and reduced steroid use.
