The symposium will take place on Tuesday 2 September, 2025, from 08:00 to 08:45 in Auditorium 11.

Who will be joining us?

We will be joined by smoking cessation experts Darush Attar-Zadeh, Honorary Clinical Fellow Respiratory Pharmacist at North West London Integrated Care Board, and Dr. Alan Curley, Programme Lead and Lecturer in Adult Health Studies at the University of the West of Scotland.

What will be covered during this session?

This session will discuss various strategies that can be implemented to support patients in overcoming nicotine addiction. Our experts will discuss the health risks associated with various tobacco and alternative nicotine products, explore effective cessation approaches using nicotine replacement therapy, and share practical guidance on helping patients achieve a nicotine-free future.
