Zinc icon

Zinc is an essential mineral that aids in immune function. It provides immune system support and helps in maintaining good health.1,2

Honey icon

Often called liquid gold, honey is a sweet substance stored in beehives after being produced from collected nectar. Honey helps to provide relief from coughs, and soothes dry, irritated throats.3,4 it’s also used as a natural sweetener.

English Ivy Leaf

English Ivy is a woody, evergreen climbing plant native to Europe and Asia. As an extract, Ivy Leaf offers relief by helping to clear mucus when coughing.6

B Vitamins icon

The B vitamins are eight water-soluble vitamins that work together as co-enzymes to support multiple aspects of cellular function. Several of the B vitamins are intricately involved in the catabolic process of generating energy within cells, and inadequate intake in some or all of the B vitamins may have a negative impact on energy generation.6

Turmeric icon

Turmeric is an herb in the ginger family that's often used as a spice in cooking. Turmeric root extract contains curcumin, known for its antioxidant properties.7

Medicinal ingredients  

One teaspoon (5 mL) contains:  

  •  Zinc (zinc gluconate) 1.7 mg 

  • English Ivy Leaf (hedera helix- leaf) (4:1-7:1, 72-126 mg dry) 18 mg 

  • Honey (apis mellifera) 6 g 

  • Turmeric (curcuma longa - rhizome)(15:1, 165 mg dry) 11mg 

  • Marshmallow (althaea officinalis – root) 25 mg 

  • Vitamin B3 (niacinamide) 1mg 

  • Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) 1 mg 

  • Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) 1.25 μg 

  

Non-medicinal ingredients: Water, acacia senegal gum, Helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, soapbark extract, concord grape flavour, anhydrous citric acid, maltodextrin

Directions  

For occasional use.   

Bottle should be shaken well before use. Patients should take with food, a few hours before or after taking other medications or natural health products.

Should be kept out of reach of children. In case of overdose, instruct parents to call a poison control centre or doctor.   

This product must not be used in children younger than 12 months because of the risk of botulism.   

The recommended daily dose should not be exceeded.   

If the patient’s condition persists or worsens, instruct parents to stop use and consult a doctor. Parents should stop use and consult a doctor if patient’s throat pain is very severe or persists for more than 2 days, or if cough persists for more than 7 days, tends to recur, or is accompanied by high fever, rash or persistent headaches as these could be signs of a serious condition.  

Known adverse reactions: Zinc supplementation can cause a copper deficiency.   

Security feature: Must not be used if seal under cap is missing or broken and cap should be reclosed tightly after each use.   

Should be stored at 15 to 30°C.
